How do I figure out this situation?

slowly and carefully detach, like hang out with her and invite her out or over less and less. and tell your mom even though she will first lecture you. it sounds cold but we don't have to be friends with everyone. but you also don't have to be mean about it - she's still human and has feelings even if she is driving you crazy right now and you want her out of your life.
