Are the Germans really rude, or merely direct? And does small talk and politeness make us Brits devious?

In Germany, Germans are polite. In Britain, British are polite. But when they come to other countries, especially South Africa, they become very rude. Of course, countries like Britain and Germany are not prepared to provide refuge to their descendants who are victims of farm murders in South Africa, which occurs on a genocidal level. They just come and give their terrible noise, and it is not cook at all.
